I am an attorney with more than 15 years of experience
on the IP field with considerable experience in
Trademark and Patent prosecution, maintenance and
licensing, litigation and copyrights prosecution and
litigation.
I have a Diploma for translation of legal terms and I
have postgraduate studies in Corporate Law, both degrees
from the Escuela Libre de Derecho. I also have a Diploma
on Commercial Contracts and Business from the Mexican
Bar.
I have been a member of the International Trademark
Association (INTA, from 2002) and the La Barra Mexicana
Colegio de Abogados, A.C. (the Mexican Bar, from 2006).
of the Mexican Industrial Property Association (AMPPI,
from 2002) and of the Association of Intellectual
Property Firms (AIPF, from 2018).
I have also been a member of different Committees and
Subcommittees from 2006 and I am currently a member of
one of the Committees at INTA; I am also an active
member of the Intellectual Property Committees of the
Mexican Bar and of the Trademarks and Copyrights
Committees of the Mexican Industrial Property
Association (AMPPI) as well as of the Association of
Intellectual Property Firms (AIPF).
I have attended and still attend several conferences,
seminars and congresses related to the Industrial
Property field, as well as workshops and updating
courses, in México and abroad.
I have also participated as speaker in the II
and III Seminars delivered by the Mexican Copyright
Institute and the National Board of Culture and Arts in
2010 and 2011. The Copyright National Institute of
Mexico awarded me with a scholarship for a Study Visit
to the Korean Copyright Commission in Seoul, Korea on
November 2011.
I commenced my practice in the firm Calderon y de la
Sierra in 2000 and from August 2014 I decided to start
my independent practice by founding the firm

I am fluent in Spanish and English and I am currently
studying French.
